Creating my charity logo

When creating my Charity logo, I used a website named Logo Genie for a rough design of what my final logo would look like for my website and trailer. When playing around on the website, I used a variety of colours and shapes to see which one would look better for my charity, being for homeless people. After researching different logos and using the website Logo Genie, I came up with my first plan of my logo, including the colours and why.
This is the front cover of the website, Logo Genie, as you can see, the website is easy to use by just clicking on the first hyperlink: "Start designing your logo now!" I found this website easy to use and helpful in ways of creating my logo for my charity.
When creating my logo, I needed to have a name for my charity as well as a slogan and so I went with; "Help The Homeless" as the name of the charity and "They need your'e help" as my slogan. I believe both representations are easy to remember, they are recognisable as well as follow a convention of a logo.
Finally, I searched around the available options for my website and this was my final design ideas. The colours, blue and green, have been used to connote different meanings of my selected charity.
Blue connotes trust, loyalty and wisdom; which is important for the audience to interpret as this charity is trusting and is worth all the donations as it helps those in need of a home and food.
Green connotes growth, harmony and freshness, which shows the audience that this charity is new, well thought out and is on growing, being successful.

Before completing my logo, I created a paper base design of what I wanted my logo to look like. This was just a plan for my actual logo. I mostly used the same qualities of my plan however I changed a few thing, like the lettering colour and font. I am happy with my final design.

This is my final logo.
